> Jaco Casstillo is a visual artist, software engineer, and entrepreneur whose work is based on reflecting the relationship between man and the universe, and the spiritual world through the use of new technologies. Born in Cuba, from an early age his life and art have been forever intertwined.

- [Havana Habana - Black and White](https://jacocasstillo.com/artworks/havana-habana-black-and-white/): The work, although it references a place, I consider to be very personal and speaks of the relationship of the person with the place they come from, and that they never stop belonging to. It arises in a context where the symbols of everyday life and daily routine became elements of attraction for tourists, for travelers. And it is that journey of dualities that captures us all: that of the person and their city, from outside to inside or vice versa, of the one who leaves, of the one who stays, from the real to the imaginary, and this in the work is expressed with perspectives and colors. The circular format speaks of the infinite cycle of life, energy, and the traditions of faith. That act of faith of walking three times around the ceiba tree.
